Everybody’s still in denial because negotiations are at the sensitive stage, the paper said. However, after the story ran Bradley sent an e-mail to his staff saying he was happy where he was. Bradley was CEO of palmOne credited with creating the smartphone before he joined HP in 2005, when its now-winning PC operation was losing money and the company was under pressure to spin it off. Motorola, which invented the mobile phone, has been trying to recover from not having a successor to the popular RAZR, and plans to spin out the cell phone unit, now $1.6 billion in the hole, next year. Motorola like Yahoo has Carl Icahn nipping at its heels. PSG currently accounts for $28 billion a year in HP revenues from PCs, mobile devices, technical workstations, digital TVs, personal storage solutions and Internet services.WIRELESS BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY LATEST STORIES . . .
