Maximizer Software Partners with McObject to Improve Mobile CRM on BlackBerry Devices
Partnership to Enhance Mobile Productivity on Maximizer's Mobile CRM Offering for BlackBerry Smartphone Devices
Jun. 19, 2008 10:00 AM
Maximizer Software announced its partnership with McObject
to enhance mobile productivity on Maximizer’s mobile CRM offering for BlackBerry
smartphone devices.
“Accessing up-to-date information on customers is critical
to sales executives and other professionals in the field. Increasingly, they
require this capability from their BlackBerry smartphones rather than laptops,”
said Will Anderson, executive vice president of technology, Maximizer Software.
“Maximizer Software is pleased to partner with McObject to improve mobile
professionals’ ability to prospect, close sales and service customers’
activities that continue to make Maximizer CRM for BlackBerry a clear choice
for field staff and business travelers.”
With the new partnership, on-the-road sales professionals,
business owners and others relying on popular BlackBerry devices will be able
to store more critical data from Maximizer CRM onto their mobile device. The
Perst Lite object-oriented embedded database from McObject, running on the Java
ME mobile device platform, will enable CRM data to be stored on flash
memory-based Secure Digital (SD) cards to extend storage capacity while on the
road - making it possible to access more customer information in real-time,
instead of relying on networks to download new data to the device. Users will
be able to access more records locally in order to retrieve and update leads,
opportunities and customer service cases, customer notes and schedules, in
order to stay productive and reduce downtime in the field.
“We are pleased to be a part of extending Maximizer Software’s
capabilities for on-the-go professionals that rely on CRM information on a
BlackBerry smartphone,” McObject Chief Operating Officer Chris Mureen said. “Our
new partnership with Maximizer is critical in helping companies and their
employees improve business productivity.”
The new enhancement will be available in MaxMobile for
BlackBerry in summer 2008.
