Carlson Wireless Announces A Trade-in Program for Optaphone Telephone Line Extenders
Assisting Optaphone Owners as their Equipment Comes to the End of its Life
Jul. 2, 2008 08:15 AM
Carlson Wireless
Technologies announced a trade-in program for Optaphone telephone line
extenders. Carlson is offering a $500 trade-in credit that can be applied to an
upgrade toward any of Carlson’s Trailblazer point-to-point or point to
multipoint digital radio systems. While Carlson Wireless was not the
manufacturer or distributor of the Optaphone, Carlson’s position in the fixed
wireless phone market provides them with an opportunity to assist Optaphone
owners as their equipment come to the end of its life.
“We’ve had many inquiries from folks seeking technical
support for their Optaphones,” said Chris Spoerle, Director of Customer Service.
“We want to let Optaphone owners know we have an opportunity to upgrade to a solution
fitting today's data needs.”
Jim Carlson, CEO
of Carlson Wireless encourages Optaphone customers to take advantage of this
opportunity. “Our Trailblazer product is up to date, easily upgradeable and we
offer stellar technical support for it,” he said. “In addition, our product
offers a higher bandwidth and an integrated Ethernet port for easy broadband
access.” The Trailblazer line operates in the 2.4, 5.4, 5.8 and 4.9 GHz
frequency bands and provides perfect wireline quality service to customers who
are beyond existing phone lines.
For almost a decade Carlson Wireless has been providing
wireless communications solutions for large telecommunications projects,
industry and public safety agencies to single telephone and data links. Carlson
Wireless’ combination of their exclusive TrueTDM combined with TCP/IP
technology allows for perfect wireline quality for POTS, 4-wire E&M, T1,
SCADA and IP for a variety of applications.
