FastScale Launches North America Virtualization Channel Program
Company Expanding Operations Due to Rapid Growth in Customer Demand for FastScale Composer Suite.
Jul. 23, 2008 10:00 AM
FastScale announced a new North America Channel Program with
eight partners already signed including Blackhawk Technology Consulting,
Continental Resources, International Computerware, New Age Technology, SecureTek
Group, VirtaCORE, Whitewater Data, and Xcedex. Data center demand for the
company’s innovative technologies exceeded expectations during the first year
of availability, and skilled partners will provide customers with greater
access to products, technical expertise, and related services offerings
centered on FastScale’s technologies.
“Channel partners are fundamental to our success in educating
customers, supporting the adoption of new innovation, and meeting the demand
for FastScale’s solutions,” said Lynn LeBlanc, CEO of FastScale. “We are
extremely pleased to have these outstanding organizations as our partners. The
combination of their thorough understanding of data center solutions, knowledge
of our joint customer needs, and deep FastScale expertise ensures the highest
possible customer success with the FastScale technology.”
FastScale’s innovations address the urgent market need for
more adaptive software infrastructure in large IT organizations by delivering an
entirely new kind of software virtualization and provisioning solution. FastScale
Composer Suite is a technology that delivers a completely automated and dynamic
management and deployment platform for both Windows and Linux servers in
physical, virtual and hybrid infrastructures alike. With compact software
environments built on-demand, automatic patch and configuration management, and
lightweight provisioning in only seconds, the entire server infrastructure,
both physical and virtual, can adapt to constantly changing demands on the fly.
Moreover, because of the small memory footprint, benchmark tests have shown 3X
the number of virtual machines can run on a physical server without degrading
performance. These capabilities deliver strong value to enterprise IT teams
looking to further increase infrastructure utilization and flexibility.
“Our customers face an increasing number of challenges in
the data center ranging from deployment of virtual servers, management of
complex heterogeneous environments, power and floor space constraints, and
system administrator shortages, just to name a few,” said Rob Miller, CEO of
VirtaCORE. “Once we realized a solution like FastScale existed, we quickly added
it to our portfolio. It provides our customers with a fully automated approach
to building, managing and deploying server software in the enterprise –
dramatically streamlining infrastructure and saving time and money across the
board.”
